German Alphabetd
I found the good learning tool – DW Learn German. It’s a really helpful website for learning German pronunciation. Even though most German letters are similar to English, there are some key differences in how they’re pronounced. For example, the letter “w” sounds like “v” in English, and the letter “j” is pronounced like “ya”.
I’ve been learning the alphabet and basic words. It’s really important to learn words together with their articles (like “der,” “die,” “das”) because that’s such a big part of German grammar.
L: die Lampo (檯燈), der Polizist (警察)
F: der Fisch (魚), der Löffel (湯匙)
V: der Vogel (鳥), der Pullover (毛衣)
W: die Wolle (毛線), die Krawatte (領帶)
G: das Geld (錢), der Igel (刺蝟)
K: die Schokolade, der Koffer (行李箱)
Remember when I was in Vienna, I loved their Schoko-Croissants! I would get one at a coffee shop every single day. I also really enjoyed the Schokolade there, especially the ones with purple packaging. They were so sweet and had this amazing flavor I can’t find in Taiwan.
